NASCA is a content research organisation. We were set up in 2017, in India and Dubai at the same time, by people who had spent long enough in classrooms to know that a robotics club on a Saturday changes nothing. Nine years and more than a hundred thousand students later, that is still the whole idea.

The belief
STEM as a club was never going to work.
For years, the answer to "we need more science and technology" was an after-school club. A kit in a cupboard. Twenty enthusiastic children out of nine hundred. It produced photographs for the school newsletter and very little else, because nothing that sits outside the timetable is ever taken seriously by the timetable.
We started in 2017 with the opposite bet. Put it inside the week. Give it a syllabus, a session count, a progression across grades, and an assessment that produces a number a parent can read. Treat it exactly the way the school already treats mathematics. That is harder to build and much harder to sell, and it is the only version that lasts.
What we learned over a hundred thousand students is unglamorous. Curriculum works when teacher coaching sits beside it, and coaching works when measurement sits beside that. A child who can explain their own project has genuinely built it. So we built all three together, and we publish the assessment standard openly so anyone can check our work.

Two countries from day one
We set up in Mumbai and Dubai in the same year, because the problem was never local. The first schools took the bet on a curriculum that asked for a slot in the weekly timetable.

NASCA LLP
Formal registration, a full-time content research team, and the first version of the sixteen sub-stream structure we still use.
- 32020 to 2022 · Scale
From lessons to a system
Maker space labs, domain specialisation, and full curriculum integration became separate programmes rather than one thing stretched to fit every school.

Six parameters, one score
Two assessments a year, six parameters, a published rubric and an annual report card. This is the part principals ask about first and the part we are proudest of.

Accredited by the World STEM Federation, which put an outside standard against work we had been marking ourselves.
