Built to the taught brief. Worked on a clean track, stalled when the tape was interrupted.

Line-follower version two, with a sensor confidence rule
Rewrote the decision logic to keep heading when the sensor reading goes uncertain. Lap time on the test track improved from 41 seconds to 27, measured over five runs.
Facilitator note
The change this year was in planning, not in ability. Once the build log became a habit, the work stopped being rebuilt from scratch every fortnight. Next year, push on Structure and Programming. The presentation is already the strongest part of the file.
